The Tollgate Hotel Terms & Conditions


 

Thank you for choosing to book with The Tollgate Hotel. We look forward to welcoming you.
When you make this booking you are entering into an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions below.

Prices
The price includes accommodation plus any board indicated.
Unless clearly stated on the booking form all extras such as additional meals, telephone calls, drinks etc are additional.

Payment Details
We accept the following forms of payment: Debit cards, all major credit cards and cash.

Flexible Rates
Includes free cancellation up to 4 p.m. on the day prior to the arrival date.
If cancelled or amended after this time you will be liable to pay 100% of the total cancelled booking value.
Our group terms and conditions may apply for multiple room or night bookings. This will be advised shortly after your booking has been placed.
When you arrive at the hotel you can choose to pay in full using a debit card or pre-authorize your credit card for payment on departure.

Pay in Advance Rates
Advanced payments are non-refundable or transferable under any circumstances.
For multiple-room or multiple-night bookings, our group terms and conditions may apply.
Details of these, if applicable, will be advised shortly after your booking has been placed.
If you have pre-paid for your accommodation you must bring the payment card that you used with you and present it at check-in, for security purposes.

Cancellation
Once you have booked your stay and we confirm to you with a booking confirmation reference number, our agreement is a legal contract.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking please contact us immediately.
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. In this unlikely instance, we would offer to transfer your booking to an alternative date. Unfortunately, any deposit payments made will not be refunded under any circumstances but may be transferred to the alternative booking and dates.

Non-availability
In the unlikely event that your booking and accommodation were unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we would attempt to offer you alternative dates or offer to add you to our cancellation waiting list. This instance could occur when the hotel has just a few rooms remaining on your chosen dates at the time of booking.
In this instance, we will contact you immediately and before any deposit payments are taken.

Pets
Well-behaved dogs are permitted BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT.
We have a limited number of “dog friendly” rooms at The Tollgate Hotel. Additional charges will apply.

Guest Room Accessibility
Please be aware that some of our guest rooms are only accessible by stairs.  If you require a room with lift access or on the ground floor, please contact our Hotel Reception & Reservations Team directly at 01903 879 494 and they will do their very best to allocate a suitable room for you. However, we cannot guarantee such availability.

Special Requirements
Should you have any specific requirements for your stay, please contact our Hotel Reception & Reservations Team directly at 01903 879 494.
They will be happy to make the necessary arrangements.

Restaurant Availability
Our Carvery Restaurant is extremely popular, so we recommend that you make your restaurant reservation for lunch or dinner well in advance to avoid disappointment. We are open lunchtimes and evenings; the restaurant offers a fabulous choice of mouth-watering dishes.

Arrival and Departure
Your accommodation should be available to you from 3 pm on the day of your arrival.
Please be ready to vacate your accommodation by 11 am on your day of departure.

Early Arrival Requests
We will always aim to accommodate early arrival requests. However, we are unable to guarantee this due to the extensive cleaning process in operation.
Prior to your stay, you will be sent an email allowing you to check-in online, please ensure this is completed before you arrive at the hotel.

Credit Card Pre-Authorisation
Upon check-in to the hotel, you will be required to provide a credit/debit card for a pre-authorisation against your room account.
This card will then be charged for any extras you have throughout your stay, this allows us to provide a contact-free checkout service.

Damages and Removal of Hotel Property
All Hotel and Restaurant guests are responsible for any damage they, or their visitors, cause to their room, Hotel property or Restaurant property, for any damage beyond normal wear and tear or for removal of Hotel or Restaurant property.
A charge will be added for the cost of repairing or replacing any damaged or removed property and this cost may be added to the guest's final bill or charged separately. The Hotel and Restaurant reserve the right to use the guest's credit/debit card held on file to take payment for such charges.

Smoking Policy
All our guest rooms are non-smoking rooms. A fine will be issued and charged if smoking has been reported.

Noise
Guests are expected to be respectful of other guests or hotel staff and keep noise to a minimum, especially during quiet hours.
The Hotel reserves the right to require a guest to leave if behaving in an unacceptable manner.

Liability
The Tollgate Hotel accepts no liability for lost or stolen items, and guests should take appropriate precautions to protect their belongings.

Data
Any data gathered during the course of this booking will be held on a computer.
